Vennt redefines the design and functionality of a message board. No longer are posts stashed into strict categories because it is built upon a tagsonomy which allows posts to be filled under multiple freeform categories, then the mass of conversation is filtered to a users specific interests.

The key ideas behind the design of the system were simplicity and modernism, this was to place the new piece of software apart from an already crowded market that had become stagnant design wise. All screen elements are positioned according to a set of rules I defined either from the Golden Ratio or the Fibonacci sequence.

The theory was that the design should be simplified to an extent of where it is almost transparent, the competitors systems were overly statistic and graphic heavy so this information was cut back to an absolute minimum that a user needs to know, the information design is strictly focused on the task at hand which is discussion.
